First night in Quebec

Took my family to Tyrolienne, a Swiss restaurant in Quebec to taste fondue. The interior decoration is in Swiss style. To kids, this is an eye-open experience. They had so many questions around the Swiss huge horn( i do not know the name either) Promised them to find out the stories behind. 

Learnd two new words tonight-- homme and femme--through hard lessons...Took Anbo to use the restroom, and couldn't make up our minds in front of two doors, mysteriously  marked 'F' and 'H'. It turned out 'H' is for men. The lesson was so hard that Anbo and I would not forget about this word again..Guess what happened...

桃花依舊笑春風

週日去Georgetown University法學院參加好友的追思會。儀式簡單肅穆，就是在校園內植棵樹，再獻花。未亡人思夫君昔日身影而涔涔淚下，孤幼子天真爛漫而笑語喧揚。人生的一苦一樂一哭一笑盡濃縮在當下。無常如此。

假如波還在，今年此時該是他緊張準備畢業考試，該是他意氣風發準備以律師身份更換人生跑道。但一切的可能在去年此時嘎然而止。假如有遺憾，那都是我們還在世的人的感受，波走得雖然突然，但也是走在他人生最有意思的時候，至少他走的時候已然尋到他一直在找尋的。就這點來說，波走得突然，走得幸福，走得瀟灑，也走得令我羨慕。是否我終於也會找到我要找尋的? 為何而來，因何而去？

是日也日麗但風大，是不是波也在天上回應著我們對他的思念呢？

又，法學院人情味極濃，居然願意在波過世一年幫著辦這麼一個追思會，使我對這個學校的印象極好，不知道我俩傻兒子們將來有沒有機會來此受教？

在會上同Chaplain-In-Residence聊了聊，對Spirituality及non-violence，還有思想行為及語言因入教而變化等問題，交換了些意見，承他介紹，準備找Karen Armstrong的一些書來看看。
